Wood Boxes

Born and raised by the sea, I have derived a lot of inspiration for the artwork from the sea life and carve from the finest ancient red cedar wood. As a passionate carver I have a great respect for nature and its spirituality. "Cedar is a the tree of life!" on the Canadian West Coast.

I have been carving for over forty years. Early on I was fortunate to have been under the tutelage of famous, world renowned artist and master carver: Bill Reid (Haida). With less carvers around these days, I'm helping to keep the rare art alive. My wife calls me "Geppetto".
